Volunteer Information

We had a BLAST at the 2019 Marion County Fair!  Planning for 2020 is already in full swing!  There’s always a LOT to do – be a part of the fun – Volunteer!

  • Are you passionate about food, or arts, or textiles? Share your knowledge and experience by volunteering in the Public Competition area!
  • Enjoy meeting people? Then we need you as an information booth host or greeter!
  • Do you like working behind the scenes? Volunteer on the set-up and/or take-down team!
  • Like variety and a fast-paced environment? Volunteer to assist at the STEAM activity stage! What is STEAM? Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Agriculture, and Math learning activities.

There are many more volunteer opportunities to choose from.

Volunteers receive:

  • Free admission to the fair, and,
  • A Marion County Fair volunteer t-shirt
  • Volunteers 16-17 must have a parent sign a release form.
  • Volunteers under 16 must have an adult volunteer with them at all times.
